2nd Annual Family Summer Camp

Come create memories and a new family tradition. The Breitenbush Family Summer Camp is a 5-day retreat filled with crafts, campfires, singing, games and nourishing family, kid and adult time. Together we co-creating a community that will evolve through the years. There are parent-led Activities Times with sports, games, nature activities and lots of arts & crafts. The River Yurt is transformed into a cozy, sensory-rich preschool. There are nightly campfires with singing, bubbles, s’mores AND Juggling Is Always An Option! 

Learn how Breitenbush works. Where does our drinking water come from? How is it purified? Tour the firehouse.  How is electricity made?  How is it all automated? And most important, what happens to the poop you flush down the toilets?!?!

The families who attend Family Summer Camp bring this event to life by sharing their talents, laughter and generosity. There will be a balance of structured activities and free time.That balance will be discussed in the months leading up to Family Summer Camp.

Families are encouraged to form cohorts and spend time with each other’s children so parents can enjoy Breitenbush as adults while their children frolic with new friends. It’s a “Choose Your Own Adventure” kind of week.
