BIPOC Wellness Weekend
September 25 - 27, 2026
Golden Bricks Events and Oshun Swim School invite you to a deeply nourishing BIPOC Wellness Weekend at Breitenbush Hot Springs—an intentional, liberatory space created for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to rest, reconnect, and root deeply in community and nature.
This weekend is all about collective care, individual restoration, and deeply connecting with sacred mineral-rich waters. We will share meals in community, and participate in offerings centered around rest, healing, movement, and joy. Whether you need time for stillness, laughter, or reconnection, this is your invitation to honor your own rhythm and wellness. Looking forward to connecting with our magic <3.
What to Expect:
- Daily access to Breitenbush’s geothermal hot springs, sauna, and forest sanctuary
- BIPOC-led workshops and healing practices
- Rustic lodging and hearty vegetarian meals prepared with care
- Quiet spaces for solitude and open circles for connection
This is a weekend to slow down, return to your body, and be in a sacred relationship with land, water, and community. No expectations, no performance—just a gentle invitation to be seen, held, and replenished.
This space is for:
BIPOC folks seeking rest, joy, liberation, and community. Whether you’re navigating burnout, craving connection, or simply curious—there is space for you here.
Age Requirements:
BIPOC Wellness Weekend is geared towards adults – all pools and hot spring areas are adults only spaces. This decision was made based on feedback from participants and an effort to support folks to feel comfortable in what may be their first experience of public nudity. If you have extenuating circumstances that would require you to bring a child aged 4 or under, please send an email to nikky@goldenbricksevents.com to inquire about a potential exceptions. We review all such requests on a case-by-case basis.
Ambassador Program:
This application is for BIPOC individuals that are interested in contributing to the weekend as Ambassadors—through light event support or healing/creative offerings—in exchange for free or reduced-cost registration. This program is intended for community members who would not otherwise be able to attend due to financial barriers. If you have the resources to attend without assistance, we kindly ask that you consider registering at full price and allowing this opportunity to support those who truly need it. We have 5 ambassador positions available.
Ambassador Application here.
*If you apply for the ambassador program and are not selected, we will automatically add you to the scholarship program application pool. There is no need to submit duplicate applications.
Scholarship Program:
We are actively seeking funding to create scholarship opportunities! Please note, at this time we do not have any guaranteed funding and cannot predict how many scholarships will be available.
This application is for BIPOC individuals who would not otherwise be able to attend due to financial barriers. The application requires an investment of time, energy & labor; we want to name that the traditional application process doesn’t center everyone’s accessibility needs. We invite you to apply using the form below OR in any format that centers your process. Contact us at info@goldenbricksevents.com if you have any questions.
We honor rest as resistance.
We hold space for joy as healing.
We center care, community, and connection.
