Yoga is inherently somatic in its practices of Meditation, Pranayama (breathing practices), and Mindfulness. Yoga teaches that creativity is a direct path to not only self-expression, but also spiritual expression. In Creative Alignment, we gain clarity about what our creative desires are, so we can pursue our unique creative expression in the world.

This retreat is a full spectrum somatic yoga experience for all levels of practitioner, including beginners. Meditation, Mantra, Pranayama, Sri Yantra craft, Journaling, Creative movement, Self-reflection, Community consciousness and Asana will provide the framework for deep restoration on the creative and spiritual fronts of our lives. Not to mention, the serenity of Breintenbush Hotsprings, the jaw dropping scenery, and the nourishing home cooked meals.

Hi, I’m Heather, your teacher for this magical restorative offering. Creative Alignment is my favorite retreat that I teach, because I get to show you how to push up against commonly held beliefs about the practice of Yoga. These misconceptions limit people from receiving the benefits of a consistent adaptive Yoga practice that is curated according to what’s needed in the present moment. You are creative, even if you haven’t thought of yourself that way ever, or for a while. I will show you by facilitating Somatic and Yogic exercises that are simple and effective.
