The beginning of the new year is an auspicious time to begin planting seeds of our intentions and visions for the future. It is important to refresh ourselves in body, mind and spirit so we may be clear about what we would like to manifest and have the optimal capacity to do so as the months unfold.

At the onset of winter in the northern hemisphere, we observe how nature has prepared and adjusted for this change in the life cycle. Humans, especially those living in colder, darker regions, also go through adjustments as winter sets in.  There is a natural influence to go deeper into our own energy. It is a potent time to meditate, reflect, and listen deeply to the whispers of our spirit.

This retreat will provide the space and support for us to journey into our yoga and meditation practice together. We’ll have the opportunity to sit in silence, experience the subtlety of our breath and also explore the resonance of our voices through chanting mantra.

Each morning our yoga practice will combine breathwork, movement and meditation. In the afternoon we’ll have more opportunity to experience the blissful nature of our consciousness through pranayama, kriya and special meditations. In the evening we’ll come together for kirtan & sacred song, celebrating, healing and opening to an ecstatic experience of divine love.
