Radical Self Compassion: IFS Informed Yoga
With Anne Laderman and Mercy B
September 28 - October 1, 2026
A 3-day hot springs retreat exploring inner parts, embodied movement, and the healing power of Self-energy.
🌿 Retreat Description
This 3-day retreat offers a nurturing and experiential journey into the heart of radical self-compassion through the integration of yoga, mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), all held within the restorative beauty of natural hot springs.
Within each of us lives an inner world made up of different parts — protective parts, striving parts, wounded parts, and a wise, steady inner presence known as the Self. Many of us have learned to push away or judge certain parts of ourselves. This retreat invites a different path — one rooted in curiosity, kindness, and deep listening, offering you an invitation to become your own best friend. Â
Surrounded by nature and supported by soothing, mineral-rich waters, you are invited to slow down, soften, and reconnect — both inwardly and outwardly. The hot springs offer a powerful complement to our inner work, supporting nervous system regulation, deep rest, and gentle integration.
Through guided yoga practices and IFS-informed reflection, participants will be supported in cultivating Self-leadership — the capacity to meet all aspects of themselves with compassion, clarity, and connection.
This retreat is not about fixing or changing who you are. Instead, it offers space to welcome more of yourself, soften internal struggles, and reconnect with your innate wholeness.
This offering is open to all levels of yoga experience, and no prior knowledge of Internal Family Systems is required.
🌿 What Participants Can Expect
✨ Grounding Yoga
A gentle practice to awaken the body and breath. Through mindful movement, participants will be guided to connect with their body, breath, and inner Self, fostering curiosity, calm, and embodied awareness in the present moment.
✨ Internal Family Systems Informed Exploration
Guided reflection, journaling, and experiential inner inquiry that brings peace to the inner world. You’ll be supported in meeting your parts — those that carry joy, those that hold struggle, and those that work hard to protect you. When we meet our parts fully grounded in Self, understanding and compassion expands.
✨ Yin and Restorative Yoga + Parts Dialogue
A slow, inward journey combining long-held yin and restorative poses with guided IFS-inspired exploration. This practice offers space to soften, listen deeply, and support integration through embodied awareness and nervous system regulation.
✨ Hot Springs Soaking & Integration Time
24 hour access to natural hot springs invites deep relaxation and integration. The warmth of the water supports the body in releasing tension, while offering a quiet, spacious environment to continue connecting with your inner experience. Whether in silent reflection or gentle connection with others, the springs become an extension of the practice — a place where insight can settle and the nervous system can unwind.
